In 'The Evil Within' you take on the role of Sebastian Castellanos, one of the best detectives in Krimson City, whose aim is to investigate a series of homicides in a mysterious psychiatric clinic known as Beacon Mental Hospital.

The game was unleashed by the studio of Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil series, and has a very similar camera positioning. It has a lot of violence, with dark and disturbing scenes, infected and disfigured beings, Silent Hill-style mannequins and countless blood-soaked bodies.
