After you help save Truenda – a fictional country in South America – of the claws of oppressive dictatorship, it is time to face new missions around the world as an elite shooter. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is the sequel to the title of FPS's namesake who made a relative success in its first version, despite some flaws in the artificial intelligence and of the excess in the action scenes.

You will assume the role of Captain Cole Anderson, a Consultant to Private Security, and participate in various missions to eliminate selected targets. The game follows the same proposal from his predecessor, in that you should seek the best points for the execution of their enemies, without being caught during the way to or after the shooting – and will need a lot of patience and dexterity to achieve their goals.

Of course, there will also be fighting in the open field, but camouflage, distance and precision shots are the key points of this game. Your skills will be tested, as factors such as distance, wind, drop of the projectile, and even your heart rate may hinder you in the time to hit the target. You will employ stealth techniques, and murders, armed robbery, in addition to techniques of attack (sniping).
